This layout aimed to be reminiscent of architecture and structure. When the idea of using image panes on 45-degree angles came up, it was a no-brainer, because this “tilt” helped to create line and interest. Also, having big gutter jumps from page to page worked beautifully to created unity, and to express the concept of the interior and exterior of the Ultimate Home.
