How Do Some Women Struggle With Confidence As It Relates To Self Image?

Women are taught to “drop a size”, “change their hair” or go through with “extreme dieting” based on picturesque qualities or what society deems as beautiful. For the most part, certain levels of attractiveness effect multiple parts of their lives, including how they interact with friends and family, who they’re dating and even how they go about accomplishing career goals.

This means beauty not only has its benefits, but it also effects a woman’s overall sense of belonging.

Advocation for a woman’s “looks” by a man or society helps to qualify her sense of confidence, and as it relates, is seen as a quantifiable measurement of truth. At which point, the struggle with self-image becomes less and less controlled by implicit values and self concept. feminine power.
